2026-27 NCVBCA Awards Timeline
NORTH CAROLINA (AUGUST 3, 2026) - The North Carolina Volleyball Coaches Association (NCVBCA) is excited to announce its 2026-27 Awards Timeline. The annual awards program recognizes outstanding high school volleyball student-athletes and coaches from across the state, and NCVBCA encourages all member coaches to participate in the nomination and voting process throughout the season.
Please note that NCVBCA/AVCA membership is required to nominate candidates and to receive NCVBCA and AVCA awards. Log in to your NCVBCA/AVCA membership account to check your membership status, or click here to renew your membership.
- August 10-21: Players to Watch List Nominations
- August 27: Players to Watch List Announcement
- October 12-16: All-Region & Coach of the Year Nominations
- October 26: All-Region Announcement
- Oct. 26 - Nov. 2: All-State/ Player of the Year Voting, and Coach of the Year Voting
- November 9: All-State Announcement
- November 16: Player of the Year and Coach of the Year Announcement
2026-27 NCVBCA Watch list Nominations
2026-27 NCVBCA Players to Watch List nominations are open August 10-21, 2026. Awards will be selected in each NCHSAA school classification.
- Each varsity head coach can nominate UP TO THREE (3) eligible student-athletes.
- Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior student-athletes from NCHSAA member schools are eligible.
- Coaches must be an NCVBCA/AVCA active member, and from a NCHSAA member school to nominate.
