In addition to the coaching educational resources provided by the AVCA as the Official Coaching Education Partner of the North Carolina Volleyball Coaches Association (NCVBCA). The association's mission is to provide a professional network for individuals and companies dedicated to enhancing and developing the sport. The AVCA has partnered with many other groups throughout the sport dedicated to growing volleyball on a local and national level. The resources provided by these organizations are endorsed by the NCVBCA and the AVCA and we encourage our members to take advantage of their offerings.
Side-Out Foundation
Side-Out unites the volleyball community to impact change. Each year, tens of thousands of volleyball players, coaches and families across the country join the growing Dig Pink® Movement. Together, they support the development of treatments that are giving stage IV breast cancer patients more quality time with their families and getting them closer to the day we find a cure.
Side-Out directly funds “game-changing” breast cancer research and support. We raise millions that fund our own cutting-edge clinical trials at renowned medical institutions. This unique approach is successfully extending the lives of people with stage 4 breast cancer. A portion of the money raised through Side-Out also goes to high-quality support services for cancer patients and their families.
North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association
The North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA) exists to encourage interscholastic competition among North Carolina independent schools that are committed to integrity, sportsmanship, and fair play. The NCISAA was started in July of 1973 by representatives from twenty-six North Carolina schools.
